Inspired by the French 75, the Air Mail is an effervescent, rum-based cocktail that combines rum, lime juice, and honey syrup topped gone champagne and Angostura bitters. While the line of the pronounce is murky—it may have been named after the enlightened delivery method for mail—the freshen Mail cocktail first appeared in print in the 1949 edition of Handbook for Hosts published by Esquire magazine.

- 1 ounce syrup honey, 1 part honey to 1 portion allocation water
- 1 ounce champagne or added sparking wine
